Penelitian Komunikasi Bencana: Analisis Bibliometrik terhadap Struktur Intelektual, Kolaborasi Ilmiah, dan Perkembangan Tema Global (2000–2025)

The increasing frequency and complexity of disasters have positioned disaster communication as a strategic component of disaster risk reduction and community resilience. Although disaster communication research continues to expand, its intellectual structure, scientific collaboration, and thematic evolution have not been comprehensively examined. This study aims to analyze the global development of disaster communication research from 2000 to 2025 using a bibliometric approach. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database following the PRISMA framework and analyzed using Bibliometrix (Biblioshiny) and VOSviewer to identify publication trends, influential journals and authors, scientific collaboration, intellectual structure, and thematic evolution. The findings indicate a significant increase in publications, particularly after 2018, reflecting the emergence of disaster communication as an interdisciplinary research field. The International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, Natural Hazards, and Journal of Risk Research were identified as the most influential publication sources, while risk communication remained the dominant conceptual foundation that has evolved toward the integration of social media, health communication, and digital technologies. This study contributes by providing a comprehensive mapping of the intellectual structure and thematic evolution of disaster communication research, offering a valuable foundation for advancing theory and practice in the era of digital transformation.
