This study aims to analyze how the Instagram account @inspira.sien plays a role in encouraging online self-disclosure among chronic disease fighters through the presentation of educational, informational, entertainment, and collaborative content. Using a qualitative approach with content analysis and in-depth interviews with five active followers, this study found that entertainment content was the most dominant type of content and had the highest engagement rate of 365.66%, followed by informational, educational, and collaborative content. The results show that light-hearted content that is relevant to the audience's personal experiences is more effective in encouraging emotional engagement and self-disclosure in the comments section. Factors that contribute to self-disclosure include comfort, personality, trust, intimacy, reciprocity, anonymity, gender, and culture. Positive responses from the community and admin @inspira.sien reinforce a sense of acceptance, safety, and motivation to share. This study confirms that social media can be a safe and supportive space for people with chronic illnesses to express themselves, reduce social stigma, and improve mental well-being through online emotional support.
Deanda DewindaruFitria Hani AprinaHusnaeni Fauziah Amani

This study aims to examine the effect of export value, banking, and the automotive industry on the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2013–2021 period. The selection of this period was based on significant economic dynamics, such as fluctuations in the benchmark interest rate, the growth of national exports, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on both the automotive industry and the capital market. A quantitative approach was employed using secondary quarterly data consisting of 36 samples, including the IHSG, export value, banking BI rate, and automotive industry GDP. Data analysis was conducted with SPSS version 22. The results indicate that export value has a positive and significant effect on the IHSG with a significance level of 0.001. The banking variable has a negative and significant effect on the IHSG with a significance level of 0.006, while the automotive industry shows no significant effect with a significance level of 0.644. Collectively, export value, banking, and the automotive industry explain 53.6% of the variation in the IHSG, as indicated by an adjusted R square of 0.536, while the remaining 46.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. These findings highlight the importance of export performance as the primary driver of IHSG movement, while the banking sector exhibits a more complex and negative influence. The automotive industry, however, does not show a significant relationship with the IHSG during the observed period.
Parulian ParulianEmmelia TanSiti Amelia

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/5455

Indonesia with all its cultural diversity and society, continues to experience social transformation triggered by changes in cultural values. Nevertheless, customary law still plays a vital role in community life, especially in the socio-social dimension. As part of the cultural area of East Java, Ponorogo customary law is inherently influenced by three main pillars: Javanese harmonious values, Islamic teachings, and local beliefs. One of the cultural heritages that preserves this customary law is the tradition of Bersih Desa, which is still carried out for generations. More than just a cultural ritual, Bersih Desa actually has a living law dimension in society. This tradition features the existence of unwritten rules that are binding, manifested in social obligations for citizens, such as participation in community service, joint contributions, and salvation prayers. The norm of mutual cooperation that is manifested in this joint work reflects social solidarity and the value of togetherness which is the core of Javanese customary law. In addition, there are customary sanctions imposed on those who neglect these obligations. The main function of the implementation of Bersih Desa is to strengthen community harmony, maintain social cohesion, and strengthen harmony between humans, nature, and ancestors. Thus, this tradition is a customary law practice with high cultural value.
Maria Yosepin Endah ListyowatiPrasetyo Hadi PrabowoSelvia WisudaReza FitriansyahFrans Geraldo Hetaria

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/5481

This article critically examines the implementation of the Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance (BLT-DD) program in Sumengko Village, Nganjuk Regency, using Herbert Gans’ theory of the latent functions of poverty. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research is based on in-depth interviews with recipients, village officials, and community leaders, as well as literature review and local documents. The findings reveal that although BLT-DD was designed as a social protection measure during the COVID-19 pandemic, in practice it has reinforced social inequality, created economic dependency, and strengthened the symbolic control of village elites over citizens. The distribution process often lacks transparency and public participation, positioning the poor as passive recipients with little room to engage or question. The program also serves as a tool for political legitimization, particularly in the context of local electoral politics. These findings support Gans’ argument that poverty performs hidden functions benefiting dominant groups—economically, politically, and symbolically. Thus, poverty in rural areas is not merely a result of structural disparities but is actively maintained through organized social mechanisms. The study recommends a transformation of social assistance policies toward more participatory and empowering models beyond short-term charity
M. Abu Dzar Al-GhifariDewien Nabielah Agustin

This study aims to analyse the influence of transformational leadership and learning climate on knowledge absorption and socio-economic service quality in the Catholic Church, considering the role of proactive personality as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was used with the PLS-SEM analysis technique and involved 79 Catholic respondents in Surakarta City. The research instrument was adapted from previous research and has been proven valid and reliable. The analysis results showed that all direct and indirect relationships between variables were statistically significant. Transformational leadership was shown to have both direct and indirect effects on increasing knowledge uptake and service quality. In addition, learning climate and proactive personality act as mediators that strengthen these paths of influence. Knowledge absorption is the most dominant factor in determining service quality. The findings strengthen the relevance of social learning theory in the context of religious organisations, and confirm the importance of leadership and learning culture in supporting more adaptive and socially impactful church ministries.
Yosep Tegar Prameswara

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6524

This study was motivated by the high number of cases of non-procedural migration in Ende Regency. The government's efforts to implement migrant worker protection policies are still not optimal. Most previous studies have focused more on internal factors within the government, implementing agencies, and recruitment companies, thus tending to discuss administrative and institutional obstacles. This study seeks to broaden the scope of the research by emphasising the role of external factors, such as the socio-economic conditions of families, kinship networks, and the cultural tradition of migration, which also determine the dynamics of policy implementation. The method used is an exploratory qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation analysis, as well as validation through triangulation. The research subjects included local government officials, BP3MI, the police, village/sub-district heads, NGOs, social organisations, former migrant workers, and migrant workers' families. The results show that the implementation of migrant protection policies in Ende Regency is influenced by a combination of external factors, such as household economic conditions, wage differences, kinship culture, and social migration networks, as well as internal factors, such as weak institutional coordination, budget constraints, and the absence of specific regulations. These findings confirm that preventing non-procedural migration requires policy transformation, institutional strengthening, and socio-economic empowerment of the community in order to make migration management safer and more dignified.
Helenerius Ajo LedaDominikus Rangga HayonRonaldo Alexander Meze

The purpose of this study was to examine how Posyandu cadres contribute to improving maternal health services in Kupang Village, Sidoarjo Regency. The qualitative approach used included observation, interviews, and documentation with purposively selected informants. Soekanto's (2001) Role Theory, which encompasses active, passive, and participatory roles, served as the basis for this analysis. The results indicate that cadres have actively participated in data collection and mentoring pregnant women, but they have failed to master 25 basic skills, resulting in an ineffective rotation system. While participatory roles emerged in collaboration with the village government through the "bantras" program, this has not been optimal due to a lack of active cadres and training, and senior cadres are reluctant to be replaced. The novelty of this study suggests that cadres' social roles can be hampered by technical limitations and institutional support. Therefore, role theory must be adapted to community-based social health organizations. Practically, this study proposes regular training, cadre regeneration, and policy support to make cadre roles more effective and sustainable.
Adellia Eka WandiraLailul Mursyidah

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6613

This study aims to analyze the iconographic program of faunal and mythological figures found in the Candi Bumi Ayu temple complex, South Sumatra. As the only major Hindu-Shaivite site from the classical period in the region, active between the 9th and 13th centuries AD, its artistic representations offer a unique perspective on the religious and cultural dynamics within the Srivijayan sphere of influence. Through a descriptive-analytical method, this paper examines thirteen specific iconographic elements, including the Kala head, Makara, Nandi, Gana, and various faunal reliefs. The findings indicate that these figures are not merely decorative but constitute a coherent symbolic system with three primary functions: apotropaic (guarding sacred space), theological (representing the divine presence of Shiva and his retinue), and cultural (articulating a distinct local Sumatran artistic canon). This local style, while in dialogue with Javanese and Indic traditions, demonstrates significant innovation, particularly in the depiction of the Kala head and the figures within the Makara's mouth. This research concludes that the animal and mythological iconography of Candi Bumi Ayu is a sophisticated visual text that reveals a complex interplay of religious cosmology, ritual practice, and the assertion of a unique regional identity.
Rizqy PrayogaHudaidah Hudaidah

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6620

This study analyzes the position of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) as a right-wing civil society organization in the context of American democracy and examines how it influences contemporary political dynamics through ideological mobilization. Since its establishment in 2012 by Charlie Kirk, TPUSA has rapidly developed as a conservative movement targeting youth political engagement through educational institutions, social media activism, and political campaigning. This research employs a library research method with a discourse analysis approach to examine TPUSA’s narrative construction, communication strategies, and political agenda. Philippe Schmitter’s civil society theory is used to explain TPUSA’s role as a non-state actor, while Muthiah Alagappa’s theoretical perspective highlights the ambivalent nature of civil society, which can either strengthen or undermine democracy. The findings show that TPUSA promotes conservative ideology while operating as an extension of partisan political interests closely connected to the Republican Party and Donald Trump’s political network. Beyond advocacy and political education, TPUSA contributes to political polarization, delegitimization of democratic institutions, and the spread of disinformation, most evidently through its involvement in the “Stop the Steal” movement. This study concludes that civil society organizations may become instruments of democratic backsliding when driven by ideological exclusivity and partisan motives.
Yilmaz Omar SebastianLyndia Aziza ShafarosaMuradi Muradi

This study discusses the communication accommodation process of students from South Sumatra in interacting with the local at Uuniversity Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The background of this study is based on the differences in language, character, and social customs between the Javanese community and students from South Sumatra, which pose challenges in the process of intercultural communication. The purpose of this study is to understand the forms of communication adjustment made by students in facing cultural differences and the strategies used to adapt to a new environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with six informants who are students from South Sumatra from the 2021-2023 batch. The results show that students experience culture shock at the beginning of their studies due to differences in language and manners. However, through the process of communication accommodation, they began to adjust their speaking style, tone of voice, and social behavior in accordance with Javanese cultural norms (convergence), without losing their original cultural identity (divergence). This adaptation process had a positive effect on their ability to interact, increased social acceptance, and strengthened mutual respect between cultures on campus.
Rizka FitrianaYanti Haryanti

Poverty Porn is a phenomenon where a person exploits the suffering of others in an intimate way to attract sympathy and pity. This phenomenon is often utilized by philanthropists, including YouTuber Willie Salim. Willie Salim is the first Indonesian creator to be included in the lineup of “Top Creators” in 2024. Therefore, this research discusses how the concepts of Poverty Porn and commodification and monetization in digital philanthropy are related and relevant to Willie Salim's YouTube content. This research is a qualitative-descriptive research with a literature study method. The data analysis used in this research is conceptual analysis with a literature study approach. The validation in this research is done by prioritizing scientific sources from indexed journals, academic books, and credible news portals. The results show that there is a connection between the concept of Poverty Porn and commodification and monetization in digital philanthropy. Where philanthropic content utilizes Poverty Porn to be commodified with various dramatic narratives of suffering so as to attract public attention, then increase engagement and ultimately increase revenue through YouTube monetization. The linkage of these concepts is relevant to the content uploaded on Willie Salim's YouTube.
This study investigates the impact of the commodification of sheep agility arts on socio-cultural sustainability in Rancabango Village, Garut, in the context of sustainable tourism development. Its main objective is to analyze the challenges and opportunities in balancing the preservation of sheep agility arts with the demands of tourism. Using a critical social-humanities paradigm, this study focuses on the impact of cultural commodification on the village's economic growth and inequality, as well as changes in the identity and value of sheep agility art. This analysis is reinforced by MacCannell's theories of staged authenticity and cultural commodification, which provide a framework for understanding how local traditions are packaged for tourist consumption. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) involving key stakeholders such as the Village Head, BUMDes, artists, and community leaders. Participatory observation is used to gain a deeper understanding. The results show that commodification has transformed sheep agility art from a folk game into a structured cultural product with high economic value. Key findings include the positive impact on increasing village income, the impact on original cultural values, the emergence of economic inequality among practitioners, and the threat of land conversion that could damage the ecosystem that supports this art. This study concludes that there is a “modernity dilemma” that requires careful sustainable tourism management strategies so that economic development does not sacrifice the socio-cultural integrity of the community.
Ghaida FarisyaIra MurwenieAlam Avrianto

Musyarakah Mutanaqishah (MMQ) is a form of hybrid contract and an alternative Sharia-compliant financing model for asset and home ownership. Despite its advantages such as shared ownership, profit sharing, rental cost flexibility, and resilience against economic volatility its implementation in Indonesia remains limited. This is due to low public awareness, and legal and operational challenges. This study aims to explore the strengths of MMQ and evaluate its compliance with Sharia principles, particularly within the framework of hybrid contracts. Employing a qualitative descriptive method through library research that includes books, journals, and scholarly articles, this research finds that MMQ aligns with Sharia law. It combines three permissible contracts: musyarakah (partnership), ijarah (leasing), and ba’i (sale). MMQ also adheres to the boundaries set for hybrid contracts, such as avoiding riba, legal contradictions, and prohibited objectives. Consequently, MMQ is considered a legitimate and Sharia-compliant financing structure. The study recommends the broader application and development of MMQ as a fair and sustainable alternative for Islamic financing in the Indonesian banking sector.
Setiawan Bin LahuriFina NurafniAlya Zhafirah Nasywa

Coal-fired power plants are one of the biggest contributors to climate change. The environmental impacts of coal-fired power plant emissions are felt most by communities that depend on natural resources. NGOs act as a counterweight and controller of government development through a community-oriented approach to create equitable and sustainable change. Research on community organizing strategies related to the campaign on climate change issues, especially the rejection of PLTU, is still limited in scientific studies. Strategy has a crucial role for organizers. Without strategy, ideology and commitment will only become mere discourse without real action. The research aims to analyze the community organizing strategy carried out by Yayasan Srikandi Lestari. The research is expected to be a further consideration in the discovery of scientific concepts in the field of social welfare related to community organizing. The research used descriptive qualitative methods with interviews, observation, and documentation. The informant selection technique in this study used purposive sampling, involving 1 key informant, 5 main informants, and 2 additional informants. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the foundation's strategy is to combine three approaches, namely locality development, social planning and social action through the stages of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, with participatory and humanist principles. https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6276

This study situates Kefamenanu, East Nusa Tenggara, as a significant locus for examining religious freedom, given its plural religious landscape and strong cultural traditions, which together create a concrete arena of tension between individual freedom of belief and dominant social norms. The emergence of new religious groups in this context has generated distinctive social, cultural, and institutional responses, markedly different from those in larger urban settings. Unlike previous studies that have tended to label such groups as “heretical” or “deviant” by focusing on doctrinal divergence, this research offers an alternative perspective by foregrounding social interactions, cultural values, the existential motivations of new adherents, and the role of policy frameworks and inter-agency coordination in shaping social relations. Adopting a qualitative case study approach, informants were purposively selected, including community members, officials from the National Unity and Political Agency (Kesbangpol), representatives of the Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB), staff of the Office of Religious Affairs, and followers of new religious movements. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed thematically. The findings underscore three key aspects: (1) value conflicts between individual religious freedom and cultural norms reinforced by majority pressures; (2) regulatory inefficiencies and weak inter-agency coordination, including the limited authority of FKUB, which exacerbate conflict and miscommunication; and (3) existential motivations as a critical factor driving individuals to join new religious groups despite stigma and social isolation. Overall, the study demonstrates that religious freedom in Kefamenanu is not solely a matter of individual rights but is deeply interwoven with social identity, group integration, and community stability.
Melkianus SuniHelidorus F.
This study examines the government’s role in post-disaster mitigation of forest fires on Mount Tampomas, Sumedang. Frequent forest fires reveal suboptimal post-disaster mitigation efforts despite the regulatory role of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). A qualitative intrinsic case study method was employed to analyze this phenomenon using primary and secondary data, interviews, field observations, and documentation. Findings show that BPBD’s involvement was limited to emergency response, while rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts were largely carried out voluntarily by community groups, NGOs, and nature enthusiasts. Key challenges include limited resources, lack of technical knowledge, and insufficient formal training on post-disaster mitigation. Funding for mitigation mainly comes from non-governmental initiatives that play a crucial role in environmental recovery. The study recommends improved coordination among stakeholders, enhanced capacity building and training on post-disaster rehabilitation, and dedicated regulations and funding allocations to support community-based mitigation efforts as part of a sustainable disaster management strategy.
Algie Rahmawan HidayatDewi Noor AzijahLolita Deby Mahendra Putri

Access to safe food is a basic right guaranteed by Article 27 paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution, which states that every citizen has the right to a decent living. In Indonesia, including Central Sulawesi, food availability is threatened by population growth, making food security a crucial aspect that must be maintained. However, food challenges are not limited to availability, which remains a problem in several regions. The purpose of this study is to analyze and develop sustainable food management in Central Sulawesi through a qualitative approach using SWOT analysis techniques. The research method used is a qualitative approach aimed at exploring in-depth aspects of branding strategy and technology utilization in developing sustainable food management. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, direct observation, focus group discussions (FGDs), and qualitative data analysis to obtain comprehensive information from various stakeholders. This information was then integrated into a SWOT analysis of branding strategy and technology utilization to increase the competitiveness of local food products in domestic and international markets. This approach allows researchers to develop recommendations based on empirical field context. This research found that communities have many external opportunities. They are expected to take several steps, including leveraging policy support to improve access to financing, leveraging digital technology to address branding and marketing limitations, and promoting product certification with the support of government regulations.
Zulkifli ZainuddinTohiroh TohirohAgung Laksono PutraUmmi Kultsum

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6300

Cardiac arrest remains a major global health concern, and nurses' ability to perform effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is critical to patient survival. However, significant variations in CPR skills among nurses have been widely reported, influenced by factors ranging from individual characteristics to institutional support. This study aimed to systematically identify and analyze the factors influencing nurses’ competence in performing CPR. A systematic literature review and meta-analysis were conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, utilizing databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, Springer, and Google Scholar to identify relevant articles published between 2021 and 2025. Ten studies met the inclusion criteria and were appraised using the JBI Critical Appraisal Checklist. The results indicated that knowledge, education, training, retraining, work experience, situational awareness, work environment, body mass index (BMI), and psychological factors contribute to variations in CPR proficiency. Nevertheless, the pooled meta-analysis revealed a very small and statistically insignificant effect size (0.0665; 95% CI: -0.0464 to 0.1794), with moderate heterogeneity (I² = 57.5%). Subgroup analysis showed that structured training had a more substantial positive effect compared to work experience. These findings suggest that experience alone is insufficient to ensure CPR competence. Therefore, standardized, recurrent training aligned with international guidelines and supported by adequate clinical infrastructure is essential to enhance nurses' resuscitation skills and improve emergency care outcomes.
Fariz Jauhar Muslim

This study aims to explore the meaning of local government actors' experiences in efforts to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through employment training programs. This study uses an interpretive phenomenological approach, so it will focus on how local government actors interpret their experiences, challenges, and results that arise in the implementation of employment training programs for people with disabilities. The data used in this study was collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with key actors in the local government environment as well as analysis of policy documentation and employment training programs. The results show that despite the existence of a regulatory framework that supports the employment rights of persons with disabilities, its implementation still faces structural and cultural barriers. Some of these obstacles include low interest from the business world, limited inclusive training facilities, and a lack of direct involvement of persons with disabilities in program planning. However, there are also progressive local initiatives, such as training based on real labor market needs and collaboration with non-governmental organizations. This study recommends strengthening collaborative inclusive strategies and improving policy evaluation based on the direct experiences of implementing actors.
Muhammad Syahru RamadhanTeza YudhaRachmat Ramdani

Self disclosure is a crucial aspect of interpersonal communication that can either strengthen or undermine relationships. This study aims to analyze self disclosure in the characters of a film produced by MD Pictures and directed by Hanung Bramantyo entitled “Ipar Adalah Maut” using DeVito's theory. The research employed a qualitative method through scene observation, dialogue analysis, and documentation. The findings reveal significant differences in the amount of disclosure, a shift in valence from positive to negative, and low accuracy due to lies by Aris and Rani that damaged trust. In terms of intention, self disclosure was used both for emotional support and manipulation, while intimacy between Aris and Rani was toxic compared to the supportive closeness between Nisa and Manda. The study concludes that the quality of self disclosure determines the direction of interpersonal communication: openness without honesty and sincere intentions may turn into a manipulative tool that destroys relationships. This research contributes to communication studies by applying self disclosure theory in film analysis as a medium that reflects family dynamics.
Liza Amalia DewiNur Maghfirah Aesthetika

The ease of accessing the internet has led to the emergence of cyberloafing in the workplace. Cyberloafing, if not managed properly, can impact employee productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of role stress, work-family conflict, and emotional exhaustion on cyberloafing in employees. The population of this study was office employees in Tangerang. The number of samples in this study was 207 participants. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of employees who were married and aged <40 years. Data analysis used SEM-PLS. The results of the study proved that role stress had an effect on emotional exhaustion, but did not affect cyberloafing. The work-family conflict affected emotional exhaustion and cyberloafing. Then emotional exhaustion became a mediator between the influence of role stress on cyberloafing and the impact of work-family conflict on cyberloafing. This research can be a reference for company leaders to make SOPs that regulate cyberloafing which includes the formula of cyberloafing, restrictions on cyberloafing and sanctions if they violate predetermined limits.
Aliyah ZahrahLista Meria

The revitalization of youth centers in East Jakarta has been hampered from 2019 to 2024. This study aims to analyze the role of the Jakarta Provincial Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) in revitalizing the youth centers in East Jakarta. The study focuses on three dimensions of government roles according to Pitana and Gayatri's theory: motivator, facilitator, and dynamic agent. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The results show that Dispora also motivates the community to participate in using youth centers as public spaces that support sports, social, and educational activities. As a facilitator, Dispora provides representative facilities and infrastructure and manages fees to support health facilities. As a dynamic agent, Dispora builds cross-sector collaboration, including local community involvement and joint monitoring with relevant institutions. Although the revitalization has shown significant achievements, several obstacles remain, such as delays in project implementation in several sub-districts. This study recommends increasing the effectiveness of coordination, mapping community needs, and conducting regular evaluations of youth center management so that the benefits of revitalization can be felt evenly.
Desy Fitriati SamputriGun Gun GumilarHanny Purnamasari

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6959

This study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), tax avoidance, asset structure, and firm size on profitability in consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019–2023. The research employs a quantitative approach with panel data, involving 31 companies and 155 observations. Profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA), while CSR, tax avoidance, asset structure, and firm size are measured using the CSR index, Effective Tax Rate (ETR), fixed assets to total assets ratio, and the natural logarithm of total assets, respectively. Panel regression analysis using the random effect model is applied to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that only tax avoidance has a significant negative effect on profitability, whereas CSR, asset structure, and firm size do not show significant impacts. These findings suggest that efficient tax management plays a more substantial role in short-term net income improvement than social responsibility or firm scale. The practical implication encourages corporate management to optimize tax strategies, asset efficiency, and growth management while maintaining long-term sustainability and social responsibility.
Nopiani Indah

Cash management plays a critical role for companies in the consumer non-cyclicals sector, as cash supports operational activities, investment needs, and shareholder obligations. However, cash policies vary across firms, making it important to identify the determinants of cash holding. This study aims to analyse the effects of asset tangibility, capital expenditure, dividend payout ratio, and institutional ownership on cash holding in consumer non-cyclicals companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 27 firms that consistently distributed dividends during 2019–2023, resulting in 135 firm-year observations. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis through EVIEWS-12 to examine the relationships among the variables. The results indicate that asset tangibility and institutional ownership have a negative and significant effect on cash holding, while the dividend payout ratio has a positive and significant effect on cash holding. Conversely, capital expenditure exhibits no significant effect. These findings highlight that cash policy is shaped not only by financial characteristics but also by ownership structure. This study contributes empirically by providing insights for companies in formulating liquidity strategies aligned with financial decisions and governance considerations.
Febriana Louw

Intimacy is a fundamental capacity essential for individuals in developing meaningful interpersonal relationships and contributing to psychological well-being and quality of life. Barriers in intimacy development, including fear of intimacy and relational dysfunction, can result in significant psychological consequences such as anxiety and depression, as well as destabilization of intimate relationships with long-term impacts. This study aims to analyze the construct of intimacy, its developmental mechanisms, and its implications for romantic relationship quality and marital stability. Demographic data shows that Indonesia has experienced a substantial increase in divorce rates, reaching 516,544 cases in 2022, indicating significant problems in intimate relationships within society. Through comprehensive analysis of prominent theories such as attachment theory, fear of intimacy theory, and intimacy violation theory, this study identifies protective factors and risk factors that facilitate and hinder intimacy development. Findings indicate that deficits in intimacy capacity correlate with increased risk of divorce, mental health disorders, and relational dysfunction that reduces life satisfaction. The practical implications of this study emphasize the urgency of evidence-based psychological interventions to optimize intimacy development, enhance intimate relationship quality, and promote family stability.
Naura Luthfi NuurmahsaFitrania Maghfiroh

This study aims to examine the relationship between emotional maturity and social support with interpersonal conflict among tenth-grade students at SMA Wachid Hasyim 5 Surabaya. Employing a quantitative approach with a correlational design, the research involved 68 respondents selected through purposive sampling, using validated and reliable instruments measuring emotional maturity, social support, and interpersonal conflict. The findings reveal that emotional maturity has a negative and significant relationship with interpersonal conflict (r = -0.395; p = 0.001), indicating that students with higher emotional maturity tend to experience fewer conflicts. Social support also shows a negative and significant relationship with interpersonal conflict (r = -0.316; p = 0.009), suggesting that greater support from the surrounding environment contributes to lower levels of conflict. Multiple regression analysis further demonstrates that both variables simultaneously exert a significant influence on interpersonal conflict, with an F-value of 9.079 and an R Square of 0.218, meaning that 21.8% of the variance in interpersonal conflict can be explained by emotional maturity and social support. These results highlight the importance of strengthening emotional skills and enhancing social support systems to foster more positive and harmonious social interactions in the school environment.
Dwi Emilia RosantiDenok Setiawati

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6699

POM IX Public Park (TVRI Park) in Palembang City is a public green open space that can be accessed for free with sports facilities, children's play areas, and gazebos. But, public facilities used to face serious problems related to maintenance, cleanliness, security, and accessibility for people with disabilities. This study uses a simple quantitative Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) method with a Likert scale of 1–4 to a number of respondents with certain criteria, combining primary data from a questionnaire based on Elinor Ostrom's four dimensions of co-production theory and field observations as well as secondary data with analysis of news information, social media and previous research. The results show that the facilities of TVRI Park in Palembang City are damaged and rusty, vandalism occurs and low community participation. The results of the survey with a focus on management through private contributions with CSR showed minimal response (67.8% of respondents considered there was no real role), although 71% supported the government-community joint management model. Based on the results obtained, TVRI Park requires intensive improvements and multi-party collaboration to improve comfort and sustainability. The government's role in addressing the maintenance issues of public facilities can be collaborative in supporting routine budget allocations for repairs, periodic maintenance schedules, strengthening CSR incentive policies, as well as participatory programs such as monthly mutual cooperation, planning meetings, and awards for active communities to realize ideal co-production that is inclusive and sustainable.
Elivia Pasma PutriAde Maulidya

The Indonesian textile and textile product (TPT) industry faces serious challenge due to significant export performance decline, demanding companies to strengthen employee performance as strategic asset. This research aims to identify the significance of relationship between work meaningfulness and work engagement on production employees of textile company. Using quantitative approach with correlational design, the research involves 72 production employees of Company X who were selected through simple random sampling. Data was collected using work meaningfulness scale that was developed based on the concept of Steger (2019) and work engagement based on the concept of Schaufeli and Bakker (2010), which then was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation. Research results show significant positive relationship between work meaningfulness with work engagement (r = 0.406, p < 0.05), with contribution amounting to 16.4% toward work engagement variance. This finding confirms work meaningfulness plays role as work resource that strengthens work engagement of production employees in the context of TPT industry, in alignment with Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model. The practical implication of this research suggests human resource management to increase work engagement through strengthening perception of work meaningfulness, particularly by clarifying work contribution toward organizational goals and wide society.
Muhammad Aufa Al Farisi Ann Haba SaudaUmi Anugerah Izzati

The purpose of this study is to understand the traditional practice of early complementary feeding (MPASI) among toddlers in Lembung Gunong Village, Kokop District, Bangkalan Regency, as well as to explore the influence of tradition and mothers’ knowladge regarding this practice. This research employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological analysis to reveal the social meanings behind the tradition of early complementary feeding. The data was collected through direct observations,in-depth interviews with key informants, documentation, and secondary sources to provide a well-rounded view of the community’s experiences. The results show that early complementary feeding has become a common practice among mothers due to the strong influence of tradition and limited knowledge about the appropriate time for complementary feeding. Mothers tend to give solid food earlier because it is considered a customary practice that has been passed down from generation to generation. Applying social construction theory, the study explains how such habits are formed and socially accepted in the community. The study recommends enhanced nutritional education aimed at reducing early complementary feeding practices and thereby lowering the incidence of stunting in Lembung Gunong Village.
Hetti MulyaningsihHoiriyeh HoiriyehAminah Dewi Rahmawati

The agrarian conflict in Dago Elos reflect the complexity of land ownership of land ownership issues in Indonesia, which are often shaped by colonial legal legacies and power imbalances. This study aims to analyze the role of BandungBergerak as part of civil society in supporting the struggle of Dago Elos residents to defend their land rights. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, using interviews with key informants and literature studies from academic sources and media publications. The findings reveal that BandungBergerak functions not only as an alternative media outlet providing critical information but also actively engages in advocacy, community empowerment, and civil society networking. These roles are manifested in in-depth reporting, educational programs, trauma healing, and cultural initiatives that strengthen community solidarity. Applying Charles Tilly’s social movement theory, the struggle of Dago Elos residents can be understood as a consistent social movement characterized by campaigns, diverse repertoires of action, and the WUNC (worthiness, unity, numbers, commitment) display. This study underscores the significant contribution of alternative media such as BandungBergerak in reinforcing local democracy through community accompaniment and the expansion of public participation spaces.
Dhinda Dwi MaharaniShabina Sundus AddinariMuradi Muradi

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/6931

This study aims to describe the political satire represented in a short animation on the YouTube channel @GlobalPresidents001, uploaded on September 10, 2025, with a duration of approximately five seconds. The analysis was conducted using Roland Barthes' semiotics, which covers three levels of meaning, namely denotation, connotation, and myth. Data was obtained through observation of visual elements, character expressions, symbols, and visual flow in the animation. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study were then linked to a number of previous studies and current phenomena developing in the media related to political relations between the United States and Burkina Faso. Validation was carried out through expert triangulation, peer discussion, and increased analytical rigor to ensure the reliability of the interpretation. The findings show that the animation presents a critique of the manipulative dynamics of political relations. The United States is depicted in a lower physical position to show a strategy of humbling itself for certain political interests. The actions of the American character, who takes Burkina Faso's money pump and then runs away, represent economic exploitation, power imbalance, and irresponsibility in the political cooperation process.
Aflaha DarajatiGufron Gufron

The globalization of K-Pop, or what is referred to as the hallyu wave, has become a forum to raise social issues, one of which is gender equality. South Korea is still experiencing gender equality issues, but artists in the music industry are actively opposing traditional gender norms. This research aims to elaborate the representation of masculinity shown by K-Pop artist Moonbyul through his style of clothing in the Music Video 'Eclipse' from the perspective of Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotics. With a qualitative descriptive approach, primary data in the form of visual and symbolic observations on the masculine style of dress depicted by Moonbyul in the Music Video 'Eclipse', supported by secondary data through interviews by informants with criteria that have been selected through purposive sampling techniques and also literature data. The results of the study show that Moonbyul uses traditional masculine clothing such as suits, boots, and camouflage equipment, which is contrary to the stigma of female idol dressing style in general which is light-colored and tight. Moonbyul fashion is seen as a sign that conveys a meaning of masculinity to women, which is analyzed through Ferdinand de Saussure's concept of semiotics that is signifier and signified. This indicates a shift in meaning regarding traditional gender stigma. This deconstruction is in line with the Sustainable Development goals by the United Nations, namely SDGs point 5 regarding gender equality.
Maila Putri KiranaNi Putu Intan Permatasari

Inclusivity is key to creating a fair space for everyone in various fields, including deaf people, especially in the dynamic film industry. In line with this, this study aims to evaluate the level of inclusivity in Indonesian films through the representation of deaf people and the use of sign language as a means of communication. Using a quantitative-descriptive approach, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to two categories, namely the general public and the deaf community, and then analyzed descriptively. The results show that the majority of respondents consider the use of sign language in films to be an important step towards inclusive representation because the representation of deaf people and the use of sign language in Indonesian films is still far from adequate. Further assessment of the limitations of Indonesian films that raise this theme shows that there is a gap that must be addressed immediately. These findings emphasize the need for collaboration between filmmakers, the deaf community, and relevant institutions to create more equitable and accessible representation. By incorporating empathy through the use of sign language, the film industry holds the potential to reach a broader audience and actively contribute to the creation of artworks that can be enjoyed by all segments of society.
Nursari Utami DewiBtari Najwa NailaHanni Nabila AthayaAnggi Putri AzzahraNana Suryana

Teenagers in the digital era within urban families tend to use technology more intensively to obtain information. When parents are less active in communicating with their adolescents, this condition can contribute to juvenile delinquency. This study aims to analyze interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents in urban families in South Tangerang City as an effort to prevent juvenile delinquency in the digital era. Interpersonal communication is an approach that can be used to ensure harmonious communication between parents and adolescents. This study applies concepts of interpersonal communication, urban families, and juvenile delinquency in the digital era. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and literature studies. The study was conducted with six informants consisting of three mothers and three adolescents living in the Sawah Baru and Pondok Ranji sub-districts. The findings indicate that interpersonal communication between parents and adolescents is carried out through openness, empathy, support, positive attitudes, and equality. In this context, parents (mothers) strive to create a comfortable communication environment with their adolescents and also attempt to position themselves as friends. In interpersonal communication, parents carefully choose words and adjust to situations and conditions so that they can accompany their adolescents when using social media. As a result, information obtained from social media can be filtered by adolescents, thereby preventing juvenile delinquency in the digital era.
Putri Nur AzizahShinta Kristanty

https://www.journal.literasisains.id/index.php/sosmaniora/article/view/7068

This study analyzes the framing of legal news coverage concerning the former Governor of South Kalimantan, H. Sahbirin Noor, on Kompas.com and Detik.com during the period from October 6 to November 12, 2024. The case, which originated from a Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sting operation and the subsequent designation of Sahbirin Noor as a suspect in an alleged bribery case, ultimately concluded with the annulment of his suspect status through a pretrial court ruling. This research employs a qualitative method using Robert Entman’s framing model to examine how both media outlets frame the issue and shape public perception. Eight news articles were analyzed as the primary sample. The findings indicate significant differences in framing orientation between the two media platforms. Detik.com emphasizes a repressive–procedural approach, focusing on individual legal actions and demands for strict law enforcement. In contrast, Kompas.com adopts a preventive–systemic approach, viewing the case as part of broader governance issues and highlighting weaknesses in bureaucratic oversight. This study concludes that Detik.com places greater emphasis on the factual aspect of “what happened,” while Kompas.com highlights “why” and “how” the events occurred, thereby offering complementary constructions. These findings contribute to the study of political communication and digital journalism in understanding the relationship between media, power, and contemporary public opinion in modern Indonesia
Redho MadaniRisma RiaSuari RosaliaAhmad Ridhani
