The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the phenomenon of hijab usage trends among Generation Z female students at IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua. Specifically, it examines how hijab styles are adopted by students, the factors influencing these tendencies, and how they interpret and construct the meaning of wearing the hijab amid rapidly evolving fashion currents. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a flow model of qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that the hijab styles of Generation Z female students at IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua reflect contemporary dynamics of religious and social identity. The hijab functions not merely as attire, but as a symbol constructed through the interaction between personal identity, collective norms, digital media, and campus culture. Preferences for minimalist designs and neutral colors demonstrate the influence of youth habitus and modern visual culture. Although social media and globalization provide strong stylistic inspiration, students selectively adapt these influences to align with norms of modesty and Islamic principles (sharia). Overall, hijab fashion among these students represents a process of negotiation between global trends, personal identity, Islamic values, and the socio-cultural structure of the campus environment.
